JACK DANIELS
"Danny"
Danny is currently offered for on farm full or half lease. Danny is an 18yo 17h thoroughbred gelding. Danny has a list of accomplishments a mile long, from the big eq and 1.40m jumpers to Hunter Derbies and even fox hunting. He is a well schooled and super fun ride for a strong intermediate rider. He needs a person who's just as enthusiastic about work as he is and is willing to put in the extra time he needs to get back into fighting shape. Once fully conditioned, this old pro is nearly unstoppable. Danny does require some basic maintenance and is shod, but the biggest thing he needs is fitness. Once strong, he will happily pack around and is always in it to win it.
DANCING QUEEN
"Breezy"
Dancing Queen “Breezy” is being offered for on farm half lease. Breezy is a 15h 15yo welsh/arab cross mare. Breezy has an impressive resume, she has tons of children’s hunter and small junior hunter wins under her belt and it’s easy to see why! She's simply stunning! Breezy has three floaty gaits, an auto swap and lovely form over fences. She floats around the ring and always gets the judges attention. After recovering from an injury Breezy had to leave the larger hunter divisions behind her but is more then happy to rake in the modified hunter, suitable hunter or short stirrup ribbons for an intermediate rider who's as driven as she is! Breezy is in need of a show partner for the 2018 season!
COPPERFIELD
"Brent"
Copperfield “Brent” is currently bring offered for on farm half lease. Brent is a 20yo 16h appendix gelding. Brent has three balanced gaits, and auto swap and a great jump. Brent has a ‘been there done that’ attitude with the show record to match. He has loads of miles in the children's hunter and eq divisions, and even did the junior’s in his younger years. Ideally Brent is looking for another intermediate rider to show and compete with in the coming season. Brent only needs mild maintenance to be ready to rake in the ribbons this summer.
JETTATURA
"Jetta"
Jettatura “Jetta” is being offered for on farm half lease. Jetta is a 17h 13yo Percheron/Thoroughbred mare. Jetta got started a bit later in life and as such is still a bit green. However, what she lacks in experience she makes up for in brains and ability. She has three elastic gaits, a good jump and a flying change. Once finished Jetta will make a killer eq horse and is a local derby prospect for sure! As she's still in training, her owners are ideally looking for a game advanced rider for her to learn and continue to grow under.
FENNEC
"Fox"
Fennec “Fox” is being offered for on or off farm lease. Fox is an 8yo 14h welsh cross gelding. Fox is as fancy as he talented, with a super personality to match! Fox has three eye catching gaits and a super jump. Not lookie and lacking that infamous pony brain that we all dread, Fox is shaping up to be a real competitor! Now all he needs is a partner in crime to get noticed with! Fox is best suited for a confidant intermediate rider really looking to stand out in the show ring. — at Lucky Clover Stables.
TINKERBELLE
"Tink"
Tinker Bell “Tink” is being offered for an on farm half lease. Tink is a 12.3h 24yo welsh pony mare. Tink is like pony royalty. She's fantastically well bred and has a list of a compliments longer then most of the horses on out farm combined. As a younger pony she was a successful pony hunter and has competed at some of the most prestigious horse shows in the USA. Including Devon, WEF and multiple trips to Pony Finals. At 24 years young, this classy little lady is looking for her next partner to take on the w/t or short stirrup divisions. Tink is about as fancy, safe and dependable as a pony can get! She’s every little girl’s dream!
MRS. MERRIMACK
"Mac"
Mrs. Merrimack “Mac” is being offered for on farm half lease. Mac is a 21 year old 15.2h percheron cross mare. Mac is a fan favorite, she is much argued over and adored in our lesson program. She has three lovely gaits, a great jump and a nice swap. She is practically bombproof and a total confidence builder over fences. Suitable for beginners on up, Mac is ideally looking for an intermediate rider looking to really compete in the coming show season.
TONY STARK
"Tony"
Tony Stark “Tony” is currently offered for on or off farm lease. Tony an 18yo 13.1h welsh gelding. Tony has three fancy gaits and an A+ jump. He is about as point and shoot as you can get over fences. Absolutely no spook, buck or stop ever. That being said, Tony gets anxious with less skilled riders and ideally needs a confidant intermediate rider to strut his stuff with. Tony has tons of miles on the rated and local Pony Eq and Pony Hunter circuit and is a blast out on the Derby Field.
GREASE LIGHTNING
"Slick"
Grease Lighting “Slick” is being offered for on farm half lease. Slick is a 15.1h 24yo Quarter Horse gelding. Slick has been one of our most steady and dependable lesson horses for years! Slick has done a bit of everything in his life, and done it well. Jumpers, eventing, cutting, roping, pony club, trail rides, and he even worked as a track pony for a while. Slick has three lovely gaits, an auto swap and knows a lot of advanced lateral work. He is suitable for any age or skilled rider and is about as bomb proof as a horse can get. While he is game to pack just about anyone around, we are ideally looking for an intermediate rider who wants to do some dressage or take on the hunter under saddle classes this summer! He deserves to strut his stuff with a well balanced rider for once and not be stuck on the baby sitting detail!
MINI COOPER
"Cooper"
Mini Cooper “Cooper” is currently being offered for on or of farm lease. Cooper is a 17yo 13.3h sport pony gelding. Cooper has three powerful gaits and one of the best jumps I've ever seen! Cooper has done a bit of everything, from pony jumpers and the pony hunters to just hitting the trail. Cooper is a sensitive and athletic little guy, and while he is used in our lesson program regularly, he thrives with a more confident intermediate rider
FELIX THE CAT
"Felix"
Felix The Cat “Felix” is currently being offered for on farm lease. Felix is a 16.1h 10yo thoroughbred gelding. Felix has three elastic gaits, a flying change and is easily one of the most intelligent horses I’ve ever known. With that being said, Felix requires a confidant advanced rider as he has a reputation of taking advantage. Felix has miles in the hunter ring and showed tons of athleticism and enthusiasm for that job. Unfortunately an injury has limited him to mostly flatwork now, but he has been excelling in dressage training. For someone looking to really shine in the dressage ring with a very special character, he's your man!
PIP PIP HURRAY!
"Pippa"
“Pip Pip Hurray” Pippa” is currently being offered for on farm lease. Pippa is a 14yo 14h welsh mare. One of our favorite lesson ponies, Pippa has three floaty gaits, an auto swap and a super soft mouth. Not spooky and lacking the ponytude of so many of her peers, Pippa is suitable on the flat for advanced beginners and up. While Pippa can jump and has excellent form over fences, she has shown that flatting is really her niche. She can get quite anxious over fences, and at the end of the day she's just such a lovely flat pony that its not worth stressing her out.
